Birding Mode exists because birders deserve merch as ridiculous, obsessive, and joyful as the hobby actually is. We put the inside jokes on the outside.

Founded in 2026, we make unisex tees for the people who can call out a flyover by silhouette alone, who own more field guides than jeans, and who consider a 4am alarm and a two-hour drive "a quick local trip." We're also for the backyard birders - the ones who know their regulars by name, keep the feeder stocked like it's a second job, and are locked in a permanent, unwinnable war with a squirrel that has beaten every "squirrel-proof" feeder ever sold. You know who you are, on both sides of that fence. This is for you.

We're not trying to blend in with every other soft-tee brand out there. We're trying to take the joke about pishing, or the one about that squirrel, that only makes sense to you and four people in your birding group chat - and put it on a shirt you'll actually want to wear. That means real fabric, a good fit, and stitching that holds up better than your feeder poles.

Quality isn't the whole point - it's just table stakes. The real point is that birding, whether it's a life list or a backyard rivalry, is weird, wonderful, and extremely funny if you're in it, and almost nobody makes clothing that gets that. So we do. As we grow, that's still the whole plan: obsessive, joyful, a little unhinged, and always in on the joke. 🐦🦉
